About Me
Leaving Normal Behind
After seeing Independence Day, my dream was to become a pilot. When my cousin joined the Marines, I got interested in the Air Force. My job was to repair the avionics systems on the F-16—the Air Force gave me responsibility and taught me the importance of paying attention to detail.
After graduating as an Economics major and working as a political pollster, I found my calling in financial planning. Since 2019, I've been coaching and advising people on their financial journey. My focus is working with healthcare professionals in the Sacramento region—a community I know well.

My Healthcare Connection
Over a dozen of my family, relatives, and friends work in healthcare, mostly at Kaiser. My mom is a retired RN of over 20 years. She's the type of person who takes care of a stranger like they're family. My wife has worked in the lab over 17 years where she gets to poke people for fun, literally and figuratively.
I understand what it means to be a healthcare professional. And I know what it means to pay attention to the tiniest details.

I regularly see smart, talented people make 3 mistakes with money:
-
1.They work for their money, instead of having their money work for them.
-
2.They don't spend their money where their heart is.
-
3.The third challenge is always HIGHLY personalized. I'd need to sit down with you and ask a few more questions to find out what that might be for YOU...
I serve clients across the U.S. from the Sacramento area, where I live with my wife, Tsega, and two daughters, Hebron and Kalkidan.
Your Roadmap
One Page Financial Plan
My process will provide you with answers to three critical questions:
-
When can you retire?
-
Are you overpaying on taxes?
-
Will you run out of money in retirement?
Answers to these questions (and others you have) will make it into your One Page Financial Plan.

My Values
What Sets Me Apart
Independence
Being a private business-owner means I'm not beholden to the mandates of a faceless corporation. I work for my clients alone and owe them a duty of undivided loyalty and utmost good faith.
Process-Driven
I take a process-driven approach to financial planning. Each plan is tailored to unique situations—I don't know what I will recommend until we understand your specific needs.
Fee-Based
My firm's economic interest is aligned with our client's economic interest. When you're successful, we're successful. Acting as a fiduciary assures that recommendations are always in your best interest.
Attention to Detail
From my Air Force days repairing F-16 avionics to analyzing financial data, I've learned that the tiniest details matter. This precision carries through everything I do.
